SAM VALENTINE BREAKS SASK RECORD
AT SR. NATIONALS
Sam Valentine was hoping to crack the Top 10 at the recent Sr. Nationals and Commonwealth Games Trials in Saskatoon. Not only did Sam exceed his own expectations in his first Senior Nationals by finishing in 6th place - he also broke a Saskatchewan record on the 10 m platform. The old record in the Open category was set by R.J. Hesselberg in 2006 at 318.45 – Sam smashed it by scoring 329.95.

REUBAN ROSS NAMED TO COMMONWEALTH GAMES TEAM
Saskatchewan’s Reuban Ross was recently named to the 2010 Commonwealth Games Team to be held in New Dehli, India in October. Reuban will be diving with his partner Alexandre Despatie in the 3m Synchro event as well as in the Individual 3m. Reuban and Alex recently won Gold at the Senior National Championships held in Saskatoon, and Reuban won Silver in the 3m Individual competition, right behind Alex.
